| Description of Event: Trained Sonoma Humane Society volunteers with their certified Canine Good Citizen therapy dogs will read with children, teens and families at the Sonoma County Library's Central Branch. This two-hour family reading event will incorporate easy reader editions of Tom Sawyer for use by young and reluctant readers. Five dog teams will be spaced apart in the Forum Room to provide an intimate reading environment for each participating reader. Tom Sawyer-themed craft activities also will be included. | |
