| Description of Event: Friends of the Petaluma River will host "Tom Sawyer Days" at the River Heritage Center. Events will encourage children, teens and adults to engage in activities that reflect episodes in the book "Tom Sawyer" and life in a river town in general. Activities will include a pirate lair and costumes, raft building, Indian camp, historic displays from the 1800s, boat rides with the Traditional Small Craft Association, fishing, storytelling and an evening campfire. | |
