Tom Sawyer Mural Event

Presenter: Santa Rosa Police Department - Graffiti Abatement Program

Description of Event: It's that time of year again!! Time to dust off our paint brushes and get another beautiful mural up in the southwest!! April 24 is the annual Spring Clean Event and we will be painting a mural at 930 McMinn Ave (corner of McMinn and Sunset). This year is a little unique because we are coordinating our project with the County's "Big Read" project where kids are encouraged to read the same book during the month of April. This year's book is /The Adventures of Tom Sawyer/ so we will be doing a mural based on the book. Please let Georgia know if you plan on coming either by email or phone. If it rains the project will have to be rescheduled.
